Humble Beginnings
In 1990, Lalit Laungani arrived in Hong Kong with vision and determination. Starting in sales, he immersed himself in watchmaking—mastering sampling, sourcing, and technical skills. He learned Cantonese and overcame the challenges of a new land and industry.

Spearmark is Founded
Lalit combined technical expertise with entrepreneurial insight to establish Spearmark in 1996—a premium watch manufacturing company headquartered in Hong Kong.

Breakthrough Partnership
Secured a pivotal partnership with an emerging U.S. brand—marking a turning point and enabling the production of mid-to-high-end timepieces with intricate complications.
2004
In-House Departments & Assembly
Launched in-house design, technical, and full assembly lines in Hong Kong, collaborating to produce Swiss Made watches.

Global Growth & Materials Innovation
Expanded the global client base while focusing on premium materials including meteorite, gemstones, diamonds, gold, titanium, sapphire, bronze, and carbon fiber.

Attending Global Fairs
Participated in Baselworld, Inhorgenta, and Watches and Wonders (Geneva).
